Whilst studying a degree in theatre studies I was first introduced to complementary medicine. Although I did not discover acupuncture specifically at this time, I was fascinated by the concept of the bodymind and began to research these fields further. In 1998 I went onto study Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading. The college combines the study of Five Element Acupuncture with Traditional Chinese Medicine. This seamless study of two traditional philosophies allows practitioners an in depth understanding of a patient's health and well-being.
